26OCT25 - 0020 - A Message From The Owner

Aesir Electric is about to enter it's 4th month in business and I couldn't be happier with how it's been coming along. 4 months is not a long time, but I have a moment to reflect. Even with all the challenges that comes with... 12+ hour days, the lack of weekends and sleep, clunky interactions, learning business, financial uncertainty, all the sacrifices, you name it... it's still been incredibly rewarding and I look forward to the future with hope and determination. It has truly been an honor to serve this great community. Just knowing that those who I've already served were willing to place their trust in me and help me get one step closer to fulfilling my vision with where I want to take this company, is not something I take lightly. I don't have the words to describe how grateful I am. For those of you who may be reading this now, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have a tendency to allow some things to become personal and modern "wisdom" largely claims this should be avoided in the world of business. The relationships I make with my clientele are very valuable to me. If I wasn't also personally invested in every project I do, then could I possibly serve to the standard I set? I don't believe so. I'm not here to copycat other electrical shops or take advice from those who have a lower standard and claim it "can't be done". That's loser shit, excuse my language. I've held a rigid belief for many years, long before I started this, that there are still people out there that desire to be served at the highest level and that are equally dissatisfied with what has become the status quo. They have just been forced to settle and accept some pretty ridiculous occurrences as normalcy due to lack of supply. I'm here to prove that it doesn't have to be that way. Now obviously, AE will not be able to serve everyone, as much as I'd like to. Because if I do that, then I will in turn serve no one. I have to turn a profit, I have to be able to allocate time, there's so many moving parts. But what I can do is build it into a provider that can serve more and serve better through growth of the company. I will need top-tier employees (especially), vehicles, efficient logistics and systems, all things that cost a significant amount of money and time to cultivate. When I talk about "changing the game" or "setting a new standard", those are statements I will deliver on in due time. It will be a bumpy ride to get there, sure, but my conviction remains. I've been called crazy for my philosophy on how I see things, how I envision the culture I want to build, all of it. This doesn't bother me because it would be unreasonable to expect others to see the same as I do. People believe in results. If we are being honest, I still haven't achieved the results I am shooting for yet and I probably never will. It's a long game that will never end. The goalposts will just keep moving down the field. It's also the only way it can be because the alternative is complacency. I will make enemies and develop haters, which are all necessary components to this journey. Not to sound full of myself here, but there will probably be people out there that will try to copy my model to some degree when the results of the process start showing on a larger scale. That's not seen as a threat by me either because one, you can never replicate my mind, and two, it's almost always lacking the foundation that built it, which presents a lot of issues you can probably think of. Yet, we still see copycats all the time. Fascinating stuff really. Shortcuts in this arena are a myth. Anyways, getting off on a tangent here. It's quite late (I still use military time if you notice from the title) and I'm rather exhausted. The point of this post wasn't so much to provide an update as it was to allow some insight into my mind in regards to AE and what I am working to build it into. I intend on doing more posts like this in the future as I have time to sit and reflect. Even though there is a ton going through my mind right now, I will save it for later. If you've read this far, I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to hear my thoughts.

Until next time,

Dwight
